Person of Interest might be a slow burn but it is literally the only show I’ve watched in my entire life where all the characters are being written consistently over four seasons, four seasons that see said characters’ emotional and ethical capacities expend and develop, ALL THE WHILE the show continues its world-building and eventually grows into an apocalyptic dystopia that questions the role of technology and surveillance in the present day like why the fuck isn’t everyone watching this

#you know how fandom overanalyzes every aspect of every character/situation#of every show#and sometimes (a lot of times) it feels like reaching#like giving too much importance to tiny little details#there’s no such thing in poi#this is the first time i feel like i can legitimate give weight to every single action#look#word said or not said#because nothing is casual#everything is there for a reason#every insignificant tiny bit makes the cut for a reason#and it’s fucking beautiful (via thedorkone)
